The Von Dutch Story DVD

Product Description

School authorities contacted Kenny Howard's parents to tell them of Kenny's use of two hands to write and draw was unsuitable, that he needed to learn to write one-handed. They even tied one arm behind his back for a week to curb his "bad habit." He also ran track competitions with no shoes. So begins the story of Von Dutch, a creative for the world of motorcycles and cars. Off-beat and irascible, yet a pinstriper, artist and fabricator like no other. This video tracks his life though interviews with his sister, an ex-wife, his two daughters and many friends. It pulls out some great information on Von Dutch, most probably known only to his family and inner circle. Like many, Von Dutch was an artist not widely known or appreciated until his death about 20 years ago. Now his motorcycles and other creations are widely sought after and are on display in museums like the National Motorcycle Museum. Get your copy of this 63 minute DVD and learn more about Von Dutch and his circle of customizers in southern California. Cannot be returned once opened.
