'Tex's Ride' Saturday Evening Post Cover Poster

Product Description

Originally appearing on the April 7,1951 issue of The Saturday Evening Post, this popular cover painting appeared showing three young boys staring in awe at a mint Harley-Davidson. Created by Stevan Dohanos, the artist said he searched far and wide for a special type of motorcycle to paint. In reality, his only requirement was that he was looking for a blue-an-silver motorcycle. The bike he eventually located was owned by was "Tex" Keeler of Connecticut, hence the name of the painting. Printed on high-quality poster stock, this full-color reproduction is ideal for framing and measures 24" wide x 32" tall.
