The 2014 Motorcycle Cannonball Endurance Run is now history. Starting Daytona Beach, Florida and covering more than 4,100 miles to finish in Tacoma, Washington, the event was open to riders on 1936 or older motorcycles. Beginning in 2010, this was the third running of the coast-to-coast event for classic and vintage motorcycles and riders.This year's route took over 100 riders from Florida to Georgia, Tennessee, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Idaho and finally Washington while averaging 250-300 miles per day with one rest day in Kansas.

The 2014 Motorcycle Cannonball Endurance Run was won by Hans Coertse from South Africa riding a 1924 600cc Indian Scout. He was a Class I rider with a smaller engine, which earned him the winning trophy. Overall, there were 24 riders with perfect scores.
